ABOUT SDARAG
With the help of our volunteers, we have already assisted nearly 430 newly arrived Afghan refugee families. Coordinating, planning, and delivering essential items to over 2,000 individuals (and counting) has been an enormous milestone. We are proud in accomplishing such work & having strong community partnerships alongside us to reach these goals.
Our activities are driven by community donations, and grants funded by both local and national level organizations. Continuation of our goals and projects will require further monetary sponsorship.

Our goal is to continue to do advocacy in our local community to build awareness and support, and to develop skills for empowerment of these refugees to find jobs and have a sustainable future.

We have been granted the tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service and are a 501(c3) nonprofit organization. This means that any donations or sponsorship money given to the San Diego Afghan Refugees Aid Group can be written off legally.
